 The American Board of Craniofacial Pain hopes you find the information on this website helpful. By using this site, you expressly agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws that regulate this site. Please check this page periodically, as the ABCP reserves the right to change these terms at any time, effective immediately upon posting such changes on the site. Changes will be identified by a footnote on this page, which shall remain posted for a minimum of thirty (30) days subsequent to any change.

Should you violate any of these terms or any applicable law, ABCP reserves the right to terminate your use of this site, ban you from future use and cancel any purchases made via the site. ABCP also reserves the right to take any appropriate legal action against you for such violations. 

 The following is a partial list of the kind of content that is prohibited on this site. Although it is not exhaustive, this list is intended to serve as a guideline for acceptable use.

• Is pornographic or sexually explicit in nature, including material that exploits minors (persons under the age of 18) in a sexual or violent way.
  
• Solicits information from any minor.
  
• Enables or provides instruction as to illegal activities.
  
• Solicits personally identifiable information or passwords for commercial or unlawful purposes.
  
• Engages in commercial activities without express permission to do so.

 The validity and effect of any agreement or purchase made via this site shall be governed, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States of America, without regard or giving force and effect to the principles of conflicts of laws of Illinois or any other state, to which jurisdiction and venue you expressly agree. Any action to interpret or enforce this agreement shall be brought to competent jurisdiction. 

 You agree to hold the American Board of Craniofacial Pain, its officers and directors, and its agents harmless for any loss, liability, claim or demand made by any third-party arising from your use of this site. 

 When you preview the content the American Board of Craniofacial Pain's website and/or download applications and other information, the ABCP automatically collects and temporarily stores certain data about your visit such as the:

• Name of the domain you use to access the Internet.
  
• Type of browser and operating system you use to access our site.
  
• Frequency, dates and times of your visits.
  
• Time spent on the site.

You do not have to give us personal information to visit our website. If you choose to provide us with additional information about yourself through an e-mail message, for example, we use that information only to respond to your message or to fulfill the stated purpose of the communication. The information provided is handled on a confidential basis within the ABCP. However, e-mail is not necessarily secure against interception. If your message is sensitive, you may prefer to send it by fax or postal mail.

We request information from the user on forms that may be downloaded from our Web site. Here a user must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used to fill customers' orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.

The ABCP does not disclose, give, sell, or transfer any personal information about our visitors, unless required by law enforcement or statute. Please note that ABCP provides alternate means of communicating with us if you do not want to submit information over the Internet.

ABCP takes physical, electronic and managerial precautions to secure against unauthorized access and use of data sent to ABCP. As with its rules concerning certification, ABCP may modify this policy from time to time as may be required by changes in our processes and services.
